 24th Annual Elstree Film Evening

The evening event was organised by the Elstree Film Festival and was not an ON THE BUSES event but I was lucky enough to get a ticket along with other fans.  The  event returned to its rightful venue at Elstree Film Studios after many years away.To say we enjoyed the event would be an understatement, an excellent night of entertainement.
The entertainment  included film and TV music from the BBC Elstree Concert Band who were in fine form. Attendess  also  watched a film celebrating 80 years of film and TV production at Elstree. Also recieving a free booklet and souvenir DVD celebrating the movie making at Elstree.

Various stars connected with Elstree past and present were in attendance with Paul Welsh Master of Ceremonies entertaining the attendees.
Many special guests attended and the special surprise guest was Christopher Lee. He still  has a great stage presence and enthralled the audience with many a story.
